Dartmoor Zoological Park is now home to over 200 animals, from
tiny stick insects to Ben the Brown Bear and Soloman the Lion. Set in
30 acres of beautiful parkland, with picnic areas, a shop, and a
restaurant with fabulous views across the South Hams.
Staff at the Dartmoor Zoological Park in Sparkwell have installed new
heaters and provided extra straw bedding to keep their residents warm.
The icy blast which Plymouth has been experiencing since the dawn of
the New Year has been especially felt by the animals at the park.
