there looking at the condition of the animals there :( Poor lives. But
it was a good outing rather sitting at home idle and watching stupid

THE Doha Zoo will be a major attraction for Qatar’s residents during
the Eid days as a slew of entertainment shows are
Doha Zoo director Hamad Saleh al-Yazidi said yesterday.
The zoo, which has been closed since the beginning of the fasting
month of Ramadan, would be open to the public starting from the first
day of Eid until the fifth day.

However, Doha Zoo authorities denied having
ordered the chimpanzees.
Zoo official Ali Hussain told the Peninsula, a Doha newspaper, that:
We have our own procedures in tune with national policies, laws and
egulations, and international conventions.
Hundreds of single men throng Doha Zoo on the second day of Eid.
Meanwhile, Doha Zoo is planning major expansion worth QR 25m with the
opening of a veterinary complex to serve the park by the end of this
year and an information centre that would acquaint visitors especially
school children with the park's activities.
