Jigokudani Monkey Park (地獄谷野猿公苑 Jigokudani Yaen Kōen) is in Yamanouchi,
Shimotakai District, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It is part of the
Joshinetsu Kogen National Park, and is located in the valley of the
Yokoyu-River, in the northern part of the prefecture.

But I'm interested to hear about the Japan Monkey Park in Inuyama. I
haven't be there and wonder whether to go or not. Any input is much

I think it is the best of the 3 monkey parks I've been to (Arashiyama,
Takao, and Jigokudani) and is a great place for photographers as there
are baby monkeys running around everywhere and playing in the snow,
and with ample opportunity for some action photos.
The animals were brought to Monkey Park because they were run over,
rescued from forest fires, injured by illegal hunters or being held in
captivity illegally.

While i was visiting monkey park for the 1st time i was so sadend by
the stae of it. Where the smaller monkeys seem to get all the
attention from both keepers and visitors the larger primates seem to
be left.
The Monkey Park was a great outing in Tenerife and much cheaper than
any other attraction. We spent a beautiful morning there among the
monkeys and iguanas, etc.
will see Monkey Park on the right. There will probably only be a few
cars in the lot, this is part of the benefit. Head inside and you will

By mid-afternoon I’d managed to secure the Monkey Park’s place on our
itinerary, and we followed the vague directions on a small sign in
town to the park’s entrance. This took us to a tiny kiosk next to a
small, shady shrine by the river.
Verdict on the Arashiyama Monkey Park: Outstanding! Once I knew what
waited up top, I wouldn’t have thought twice about paying double or
triple to enter (it’s less than $5 US).
