The Sedgwick County Zoo is a poor excuse for a zoo! The Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo is way better. If you're ever in Nebraska you should go. There are 14,500 more animals and 462 more species in Omaha than Wichita.

The Sedgwick County Zoo is easy to get to and has a large number of exhibits that are well laid out. They added a penguin exhibit, opened 2007 but also have a wonderful ape, lion and north american exhibit.
